How to Marinate chicken

  • 100 Grams Boneless Chicken
  • A tablespoon of Ginger and Garlic paste
  • 2 Tablespoons of curd
  • 1/4th teaspoon of Turmeric Powder.
  • 1/4th teaspoon of Red Chili Powder.
  • Salt as per Taste

Pizza Toppings

  • Pizza Base – 2
  • 2 Cheese Cubes
  • Cheese Slices – 2
  • Tomatoes 2, cut into small slices 
  • Onions 2, cut into small slices
  • Shimla Mirch 1, cut into small slices
  • Tomato sauce

The Process For Chicken Marination

  • Wash the Boneless Chicken Pieces thoroughly.
  • Take a bowl 
  • Add chicken pieces 
  • 1/4 th teaspoon turmeric powder
  • Red chilli Powder 1/4 th teaspoon
  • one tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • Salt as per taste
  • 2 Tablespoon Curd
  • Mix well nicely 
  • Cover with a lid 
  • Keep aside 10 minutes for Marination
  • After 10 minutes 
  • Take a Kadai, heat oil, and fry the marinated chicken pieces till done
  • Keep them on a kitchen napkin to drain the extra oil

Process For Pizza Topping

  • Take Pizza base 
  • Apply tomato sauce on Pizza Base 
  • 1 Cheese slice on Pizza Base
  • Onion slices on the Pizza Base
  • Shimla Mirchi Slices on Pizza Base
  • Tomato Slices on Pizza Base
  • Fried Chicken Pieces 4 to 5 on pizza Base


  • Heat Tawa on a gas stove 
  • Keep medium flame
  • Place this Pizza with the toppings on the Tawa
  • Cover with a Lid
  • So all the Toppings are cooked till tender
  • For 5 to 10 Minutes

After 10 minutes remove, let it cool.

Add Grated cheese as Garnish, cut in 4 equal parts.

 Ingredients of Walnut and Date Cake Recipe 

  • Multipurpose flour (Maida) 1 cup
  • Powdered sugar 3/ 4 the cup
  • Milk 1 cup 
  • Clarified butter or ghee 1 cup
  • Baking powder 3 / 4 tsp
  • Baking soda 1 / 2 tsp
  • Walnuts 10 
  • Dates 20

 Process of making Walnut and Date Cake Recipe 
  • Add milk 1 cup in dates keep aside 
  • Take 1 cup ghee in blender mixer with 3 / 4 cup powdered sugar 
  • Beat 
  • Add baking powder and baking soda and blend it 
  • Put dates and milk in a mixer and grind in to smooth paste 
  • Add this in a blender with remaining milk and blend
  • See consistency 
  • Break walnuts into pieces add to the mixture
  • Add dates kept aside to the mixture
  • Preheat oven 180 degrees for 15 minutes 
  • Grease a mold of cake with little oil or ghee and sprinkle maida over it
  • Now add the mixture from the blender to the cake mold 
  • add some walnut pieces over it 
  • Now keep in the oven for 30 to 35 minutes at 180 degrees 
  • Remove when done 
  • Inspect with a knife put in the middle of the cake 
  • If it comes clean the cake is baked

Gharge Recipe in marathi is very easy to make and today I am making  Bhoplyache gharge
Bhoplyache Gharge is a dish which is very yummy and especially the kids love it.It is one of the famous Maharashtrian Recipes.

The dish is loved especially since it is sweet but it is very nutritious as well.Red Pumpkin has a lot of benefits which make the children healthy and fit.
It is very easy to make and it takes hardly any time.Its shape is like puris but can be made in various shapes like stars,especially for kids.

Ingredients of Gharge Recipe In Marathi

1.Grated Pumpkin – 2 Bowls.
2.Jaggery- 1 ¼ th Bowl.
3.Cardamom powder – ¼ th tea spoon.
4.Ghee – 2 tea spoon.
5. Wheat -3 ¼ th cup.
6 Salt – as per taste.
7.Oil- 2 cups.

Preparation of Gharge Recipe in Marathi

1. Preheat the pan for 2 mins.
2.Add 2 teaspoon ghee to it.
3.After 1 min or so we add the grated pumpkin to the pan.
4.Then add the grated Jaggery to the pan .
5.Stir well for the jaggery to melt.
6.Add cardamom powder to the mix once the jaggery has melted and the mixture in the pan has mixed well
7.Mix it well for a few minutes then let it cook for few minutes on medium flame.
8.Take the mixture in a big pan and let it cool down.
9.Once it cools down add wheat flour and 1 teaspoon salt or as per taste.
10.Start mixing it and preparing the dough
11.If more wheat flour is needed add it and make the dough like what is prepared for puri.
12.Once the dough is ready add one tablespoon of oil knead the dough some more and keep it aside for a few Minutes.
Bhoplyache Gharge
13.Keep the oil in a pan to preheat.
14. Make slightly big balls of the dough.
15.Start making it like big puris but don’t make the puris too thin like
16. Use bowls or cookie cutters to have different shapes of Gharges.
17.Fry them in the oil.
18.Till they are golden in color.
19.Take it out on the kitchen towel.

Solkadhi Recipe In Marathi

Solkadhi consists of kokum which is grown in the western ghats of India , SindhuDurg region, Ratnagiri Malvan, Vengurla and Sawantwadi, Goa, Coorg and Wayanad The ripe fruit of Amsul is round like a tomato firm and red. As it  ripens the colour changes to deep mauve . This colour is retained for up to 1 yr  the fruit is dried and its covers are used commercially in semi-dried form. To use it we have to soak the covers in water to give a pink extract. This pink extract is used in many dishes for its colour and sour taste  Amsul is sweet but sour

It is famous as it has Amsul  which has many properties
  • Amsul has an anti-bacterial, antifungal and anti-ulcer property 
  • It has many anti-oxidants and hence protects the heart and prevents heart attacks 
  • Amsul improves the immune system. It lowers fat formation and stabilizes cholesterol levels
  • According to Ayurveda Amsul is a cure for acidity 
  • Kokum Sharbat made with Kokum juice, sugar, black salt is good to beat the heat in summer 
  • It is high in vitamin – C so it helps to build immunity 
  • Kokum is processed and butter is used to make moisturizer in winter
Kokum is used as a substitute to tamarind in preparation of dal and curry 
  •  Solkadhi Recipe Ingredients
  • 1 coconut grated 
  • 2 green chillies
  •  4 or 5 cloves of garlic
  • 5 Amsul
  • Soak Amsul in water 
  • Grind coconut, Green chillies , Garlic and 1 Teaspoon Salt
  • Put water little by  little 
  • Now squeeze the ground mixture and remove the coconut milk in a bowl with the help of a sieve
  • Add water again  and grind 
  • Repeat this process till  you get clear water from the coconut mixture
SOLKADHI Some Dried and old Amsul taste the same but do not give pink colour when mixed with water. Same happened with me when I made this recipe. My Amsul were old and the recipe tasted awesome but the pink colour was very very light. If you want the pink colour and the taste take fresh Amsul. Making of Dhokla 

It is usually white it is made of rice flour. Khaman is made of chickpea flour or besan and is yellow. But Khaman is always called as dhokla in Maharashtra

It Is made by me  with chickpea flour by adding green chillies and a dash of ginger, salt, given tempering and kept for fermenting.  It makes the dish quite fluffy and light. The fermented variety of foods as we have seen is very low in calories firstly they retain their qualities of nutrients and secondly they are a good source of  proteins as they have Besan  Along with it they also have Folic acid, Niacin, Thiamin and other B-Complex Vitamins with also Vitamin K   Dhokla Recipe  is a favourite dish of the young and the old as it is having no spices. Some people add sugar to it  whereas others do not  Fermented foods are easier to digest. Besides, they are steamed, so they are low in calorie. Ingredients to make Recipe of Dhokla in Marathi 

  • Moong dal 1 and a half cup 
  • Chickpeas or Chana dal 1 and a half cup 
  • Garlic 7 to 8 cloves
  • Ginger 1 inch 
  • Soak chickpeas and moong dal for 3 to 4 hrs 
  •  Add half cup curd 
  •  After 4 hrs remove the dal  in a mixer and grind 
  • Keep aside for 4 hrs it will be fermented 
  • Salt as per taste to be added 
  • Pinch of turmeric powder just for colour 
  • Sugar to be added 
  • Mix well 
  • Grease a vessel with oil 
  • Keep a Kadai on a gas stove with stand 
  • Put mixture ¾ th in the vessel as it is fermented without soda 
  • Close the Kadai with a lid 
  • Keep gas flame on high for 20 to 25 minutes 
  • Switch off the flame after 25 mins 
  • Let it cool 
  • Cut into pieces 
For the Tadka 
  • In a pan heat oil 
  • Put mustard seeds 
  • Let them splutter 
  • Add chillies 
  • And curry leaves 
  • Remove from the gas stove 
  • Pour on the pieces of dhokla 
  • Dhokla is ready to serve

Ingredients For making Namkeen Shankarpali Maharashtrian Style

  • 3 cups of All-purpose flour(Maida)
  • Half Teaspoon full of Turmeric powder.
  • A Teaspoon of Red Chilli Powder.
  • One TeaSpoon Full of Carom Seeds.
  • Two Teaspoon of Cumin Seed, Roasted and Powdered.
  • Salt as per taste.
  • Refined oil 2 tablespoons full.
  • Refined oil for frying

    Preparation Namkeen Shankarpali Recipe In Marathi

Take a big plate and take three cups of all-purpose flour (Maida)

    Make a well in the middle of the flour and add the spices one by one 
  • Add turmeric powder 
  • Red chilly powder 
  • Cumin seeds powdered 
  • Carom Seeds
  • Salt as per taste 
  • Heat two tablespoons of oil and add in the flour with all the spices 
  • Mix well 
  • Now add water little by little 
  • Knead to make a dough 
  • Take some oil in your palm and apply to the dough on all sides
  • Cover it with a lid and  Keep aside for 10 minutes    
  • After 10 minutes remove the lid and knead the dough again
  •  Make a ball now with the rolling pin roll it into a flat like a chapati
  • Now cut into strips with a knife Cut into diamond or square shapes of shankarpali
  •  Take a Kadai. Heat oil in the Kadai on medium flame and put one by one the Namkeen Shankarpali
  •  Fry on medium flame, from both sides till it becomes golden brown 
 Crispy Spicy Namkeen Shankarpali is ready to serve  This Shankarpali is made during Diwali and is loved by all. Generally two types of shankarpali are very famous in Maharashtra one is Sweet Shankarpali and the other is spicy or Namkeen Shankarpali.
