  • Take 1 cup of Toor Dal and soak it for sometime
  • Once is soaked cook it and keep aside
  • Take 1 Tomato finely chopped
  • 1 Onion finely chopped
  • 4 to 5 cloves of Garlic
  • Curry leaves
  • ¼ th tablespoon of turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon of red chilli powder
  • 1 and a half teaspoon of Garam Masala
  • Salt as per taste
  • Coriander leaves for Garnishing

  • Take a kadhai and keep it on the Gas Stove and add 1 tablespoon of oil to it
  • Add Cloves of chopped Garlic to it
  • To this add ½ teaspoon Mustard seeds
  • After some time add ½ teaspoon Cumin seeds
  • Add curry leaves to it
  • Once the ingredients start spluttering add onions and tomatoes to it
  • Mix it well
  • Let it cook for a few minutes
  • After a few minutes add Toor Dal which we had soaked and cooked
  • Add some water, look at the consistency and add more water if required 
  • Turmeric powder to be added

Ingredients For Making Kadhi Bhaji 

  • 1 cabbage cut into pieces 
  • A cup of Gram Flour
  • Salt as per taste
  • Turmeric
  • Some sugar
  • Mustard seeds 2 tablespoons
  • Curry Leaves 10 to 12 
  • Green chilies 2 to 4 finely chopped
  • 7 to 8 garlic cloves
  • 2 to 3 Green chilies cut into 2 pieces
  • Curd

Preparation Of Kadhi Bhaji 

  • Take a bowl and add cabbage to it
  • Add finely chopped green chilies to it
  • Salt half tablespoon or as per taste
  • Turmeric one teaspoon
  • ¾ th cup of Gram Flour to the mix
  • Add some water to it and mix it well
  • Add some more Gram Flour to the mix so that it is not too liquid
  • Now we make Buttermilk of curd by adding water

Keep a Big Wok on the flame 

  • Add 2 to 3 tablespoons oil 
  • Once it is slightly heated add mustard seeds
  • Crush 8 to 10 Garlic cloves and add to the oil
  • Curry leaves to be added
  • Mix it well
  • Green chilies to be added
  • Now to the mixture in the wok add buttermilk(Take care as there is a chance of the oil and the buttermilk mixture spurting out)

Take the Remaining ¼ th Gram Flour in a bowl and add some water also mix it well so that no lumps are formed

Add this mix to the wok and again mix well

  • Also, add some sugar and salt as per taste
  • Add ¼ th teaspoon of turmeric
  • Now let this mixture boil for some time and after some time take it down and keep it aside

Kadhi Bhaji

Take another wok 

  • Now to this add 4 to 5 cups of oil
  • Deep fry the previously made mixture of cabbage and Gram Flour by making it into a ball-like shapes
  • Once these balls of cabbage and gram flour are properly cooked then take it on a kitchen towel so that most of the oil is soaked

Add this cabbage and Gram flour Balls also known as “Bhaji” to the mixture of buttermilk and other ingredients which we had prepared previously also known as “Kadhi”

Tip :- Add Bhaji when you are going to serve it as it shall remain crispy. If you like soft Bhaji then keep it in immersed in the bowl.

Dal palak

  • Add Toor dal to a bowl
  • To this Toor Dal add spinach
  • Add chopped onions to this mixture
  • Similarly, add peanuts to the mixture
  • Half a cup of water to be added
  • Put this bowl in the pressure cooker and wait for 3 whistles
  • Take grated coconut and grind in the mixer
  • After 3 whistles let the cooker cool down

Keep a wok For heating

  • Add oil 2 to 3 tablespoons to the wok
  • Smash the garlic and add it to the wok
  • Wait for it to splutter
  • Then add the cooked mixture of spinach, onions, peanuts to the wok
  • Add red chili powder
  • Turmeric
  • Salt as per taste
  • Mix it well
  • Add coconut milk which we had grinded 
  • Water as per the consistency needed
  • Tamarind pulp due to this Dal Palak will be slightly tangy

Let it boil for 8 to 10 minutes

Switch off the gas

8.Turmeric- 1/2 Teaspoon

9.Garam Masala- 1 Teaspoon.

10.Salt as per taste.

11.Fresh Cream – 2 tablespoons.

Preparation :-

1.Take two tomatoes and make its Puree.

2.Grind Chopped onions in a Mixer Grinder.

3.Cook Spinach and make its puree.

4.Shallow fry cottage cheese(optional)

5.Heat the pan and add oil.

6.Add ginger garlic paste and saute it.

7.Add ground onion and saute it for a minute.

8.Add Tomato Puree cook it till it leaves oil

9.Add Red chilli powder, turmeric, Garam masala, salt and

  Mix it well and saute it for a few minutes.

10.Then add Palak Puree.

11.Mix it well and add cream.

12.Cover the pan for a few minutes to cook it.

5. Wheat -3 ¼ th cup.
6 Salt – as per taste.
7.Oil- 2 cups.

Preparation of Gharge Recipe in Marathi

1. Preheat the pan for 2 mins.
2.Add 2 teaspoon ghee to it.
3.After 1 min or so we add the grated pumpkin to the pan.
4.Then add the grated Jaggery to the pan .
5.Stir well for the jaggery to melt.
6.Add cardamom powder to the mix once the jaggery has melted and the mixture in the pan has mixed well
7.Mix it well for a few minutes then let it cook for few minutes on medium flame.
8.Take the mixture in a big pan and let it cool down.
9.Once it cools down add wheat flour and 1 teaspoon salt or as per taste.
10.Start mixing it and preparing the dough
11.If more wheat flour is needed add it and make the dough like what is prepared for puri.
12.Once the dough is ready add one tablespoon of oil knead the dough some more and keep it aside for a few Minutes.

    Preparation Namkeen Shankarpali Recipe In Marathi

Take a big plate and take three cups of all-purpose flour (Maida)

    Make a well in the middle of the flour and add the spices one by one 

  • Add turmeric powder 
  • Red chilly powder 
  • Cumin seeds powdered 
  • Carom Seeds
  • Salt as per taste 
  • Heat two tablespoons of oil and add in the flour with all the spices 
  • Mix well 
  • Now add water little by little 
  • Knead to make a dough 
  • Take some oil in your palm and apply to the dough on all sides
  • Cover it with a lid and  Keep aside for 10 minutes    
  • After 10 minutes remove the lid and knead the dough again
  •  Make a ball now with the rolling pin roll it into a flat like a chapati
  • Now cut into strips with a knife Cut into diamond or square shapes of shankarpali

  •  Take a Kadai. Heat oil in the Kadai on medium flame and put one by one the Namkeen Shankarpali
  •  Fry on medium flame, from both sides till it becomes golden brown
